Best Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1/3 c. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
3 heaping c. plain flour
Preparation

Melt Crisco in 1/2 cup boiling water in large bowl.
Cool to lukewarm.
Mix yeast in 3/4 cup lukewarm water.
Add cooled Crisco. Blend egg, sugar, salt and 1/2 cup water.
Add to first mixture. Mix well.
Add flour; makes a stiff dough.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Roll out and knead on floured board.
Roll out 1/2 to 3/4-inches thick.
Cut and put on largest baking sheet.
Brush with melted butter.
Let rise 30 to 60 minutes.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until light brown.
Brush with melted butter again.
For cloverleaf rolls, drop 3 small balls into muffin tins to rise.
