Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (2 sticks)
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter thoroughly.
    Gradually add sugar and continue to cream.
    Add eggs (one at a time).
    Beat after each egg.
    Add flour gradually; add vanilla.
    Bake in greased tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until cake leaves sides of pan.
