Special K Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. Special K cereal
    3 c. Rice Krispies cereal
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1 to 1 1/2 c. peanut butter
    1 (6 oz.) or more chocolate chips
    1/2 c. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Cook the Karo syrup and sugar; bring to a boil.
    Add the peanut butter to this mixture and blend well.
    Pour this over the 6 cups of cereal in a large bowl.
    Mix well and put into a buttered jelly roll pan.
    Melt the chocolate and butterscotch chips in the microwave.
    Spread over the bars; cut into squares.
