Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    2 or 3 onions, chopped
    1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes, diced
    2 or 3 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 tsp. dried basil
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute vegetables in hot oil until golden brown.
    Add tomatoes and spices; simmer for 45 minutes.
    Cook ravioli following directions.
    Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
    Serves 5 to 6.
