Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. plain flour
    3 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    dash of granulated sugar
    chocolate chips
    pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
    Add dry ingredients alternately to buttermilk vanilla mixture.
    Spoon tablespoon sized drops of batter on slightly greased cookie sheet and sprinkle with a dash of sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 12 minutes.
