German Slaw(A Handy Salad To Have Around) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. cabbage, chopped or grated
    2 green or red peppers
    2 medium onions
    1 1/3 c. vinegar
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. mustard
Preparation
    Boil vinegar, sugar, turmeric and spices.
    Pour over cabbage mixture.
    Put in sterile jars.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Keeps 6 months.
