Marinated Artichokes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (14 oz.) cans artichoke bottoms (undrained)
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. dried, crushed oregano
    1/4 tsp. dried tarragon
    dash of garlic powder
Preparation
    Drain artichokes, reserving liquid; quarter artichokes.
    Set aside.
    Combine reserved liquid, lemon juice and next 4 ingredients; stir well.
    Add artichokes.
    Cover and chill 8 hours, stirring occasionally.
    To serve, drain artichokes and place on bed of lettuce leaves, if desired.
    Yields 40 appetizers or can use as a salad.
