Chili Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or turkey
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
    1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, drained and washed
    1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, washed and drained
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, crushed (with juice)
    4 Tbsp. chili powder or as desired
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Heat oil in large saucepan; cook meat, onion and garlic. Drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer partly covered for 35 minutes to an hour. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
