Sweet N Sour Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can each: wax beans, cut green beans and kidney beans
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen baby limas, cooked and drained
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
    1 1/4 c. sugar or 5 tsp. Sweet 'N Low
    1 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Place vegetables in a large bowl.
    Combine sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper in a saucepan and bring to boil.
    (I use Sweet 'N Low, so I don't boil the dressing.)
    Set aside to cool. Pour cooled dressing over vegetables; stir lightly and place in refrigerator several hours or overnight, tossing occasionally.
