Stuffed French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. loaf of hearty sandwich bread (like Pepperidge Farm)
    2 (8 oz.) bricks cream cheese, well chilled
    1 doz. eggs
    1 c. maple syrup
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Night before:
    Grease a large casserole.
    Cut bread into 1-inch cubes.
    Cut cream cheese into 1 inch cubes.
    Put half of bread into casserole, top with cream cheese and cover with rest of bread.
