"Pile O Candy"(Chocolate Or Maple Fudge) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. chocolate
1 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
pecans

Preparation

Cook sugar, milk and chocolate until soft ball will form in cold water. Add butter and vanilla. Beat with electric mixer until it begins to get firm (watch closely!). Add pecans and stir slowly or it will harden fast. Pour in a big pile. Do not spread out. Pour onto wax paper and cut as needed.
