Apple Dumpling Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chopped apples
    1 c. raisins
    1 pkg. applesauce spice cake mix
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened
    1/3 c. dairy sour cream
    4 small eggs
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    whipped topping
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease bottom only of a 13 x 9-inch pan. Spread apples and raisins evenly over bottom of cake pan. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, 1/2 cup water, margarine, sour cream and eggs at low speed until moistened.
    Beat 2 minutes at highest speed. Spoon batter evenly over fruit in pan.
