Olivia'S Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. applesauce
    2 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Take 1/2 cup of the flour mix and stir into the nuts and raisins. Set both aside. Cream the butter until whipped soft.
    Add sugar, a little at a time, until mixture is smooth. Beat eggs vigorously. Alternately stir in flour mixture and applesauce.
    When all is mixed together, add nuts and raisins.
    Mix well.
    Pour batter into well-greased Bundt pan.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Cool 10 minutes, then turn out on cake rack. Frost with Whiskey Frosting when cake is cool.
