Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
4 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
Preparation

Beat baking powder and egg until fluffy.
Add all other ingredients.
Bake in 8-inch greased baking pan or a cast-iron skillet, preheated with 1/2 cup shortening in hot 425\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
