Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 pt. peanuts (raw)
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Mix sugar, Karo syrup and water in heavy saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Add peanuts and cook until honey colored and peanuts pop. Add baking soda and mix well.
    Pour onto buttered pan and let cool.
