Strawberry Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. frozen strawberries
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine strawberries, sugar and water into medium cooker. Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
    Mix flour, shortening and milk into bowl.
    When strawberries are cooked, drop flour mixture by the spoonfuls into strawberries.
    Cook on low heat until dumplings are done.
    Serve with Cool Whip on top in a bowl.
    Any fruit, frozen, can be cooked and served the same way.
