Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. oats
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Pour boiling water over oats; let stand 20 minutes or until cool.
