Fresh Cherry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. margarine
1/4 tsp. salt
1 qt. tart red cherries, washed and pitted
double pie crust
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour, salt and cherries together.
Line pie pan with pastry.
Add cherry mixture and cover with top crust.
Bake in very hot oven (400\u00b0) for 10 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake 25 minutes longer.
Makes one 9-inch pie.
