Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
3/4 c. milk

Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients.
Add egg and milk to dry ingredients.
Drop a teaspoon of batter for each hush puppy into hot deep fat.
Cook a few at a time until golden brown.
