Prize Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Add sugar, shortening and milk; beat 2 minutes.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat 2 more minutes.
Fill pans 1/3 to 1/2 full.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Makes 30 cupcakes.
