Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli spears or same amount fresh
    1 c. grated processed American cheese
    1 c. water chestnuts, sliced
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can French fried onion rings
Preparation
    Prepare broccoli as directed on package but cook only 4 minutes.
    (If using fresh, peel stem portion and cook until not quite tender.)
    Drain and put in greased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle cheese over broccoli.
    Put water chestnuts over cheese. Mix mushroom soup and evaporated milk.
    Pour over other ingredients.
    Bake about 25 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Take from oven and top with onion rings.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes more, until onions are crisp and golden brown.
