Microwave Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 slices dried bread or leftover toast
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/3 c. white sugar
    pinch of salt
    nutmeg (optional)
Preparation
    Crumble bread in buttered 1 1/2-quart microwave dish.
    Beat eggs; stir in sugar, salt, vanilla and 1/2 cup milk until sugar feels dissolved, then add 1 cup milk and stir well.
    Pour over bread and sprinkle nutmeg lightly, if desired.
    Cook on High power for 7 or 8 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed.
    Eat hot or chill and top with Cool Whip.
