Potato Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can whole potatoes, drained
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. chopped green onions
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. milk
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
Preparation
    Mash enough potatoes to equal 1/2 cup, then dice remaining potatoes; set both aside.
    In medium saucepan, melt butter; add green onions and fry 1 minute.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually add milk, stirring until smooth.
    Cook, stirring over medium heat until thickened.
    Stir in potatoes and corn.
    Cook 6 minutes until thick.
