Date Nut Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. pecans, toasted and chopped
1 (7 oz.) bag sweetened flake coconut
1 (8 oz.) box chopped dates
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

Preparation

To toast pecans, bake on a cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for about 7 minutes.
Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets or line cookie sheets with greased foil.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Drop and shape by rounded tablespoonful 1-inch apart onto cookie sheet.
Bake for 12 minutes or until cookies are browned around edges.
Cool on wire rack.
Store in an airtight container.
