Mushroom Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth (undiluted)
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced mushrooms (fresh)
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Saut minced onion and garlic in hot olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat until tender. Add sliced mushrooms and saut 5 minutes. Stir in beef broth and soy sauce. Stir together cornstarch and 3/4 cup water. Gradually stir into broth mixture. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Stir in salt and pepper.
