Seven Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine egg whites, syrup, sugar and salt in upper part of double boiler.
    Beat with rotary beater until partially mixed. Set pan over rapidly boiling water.
    Cook 7 minutes, beating constantly, with a rotary beater until frosting stand in peaks. Remove pan from hot water.
    Add flavoring.
    Beat into mix well. Makes enough to cover top and sides of 2 round 8 or 9-inch layers.
