Crispy Corn Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. margarine, melted
Preparation

In medium bowl, pour boiling water over cornmeal.
Let cool. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, chili powder, cumin and salt.
Mix egg, milk and margarine with cornmeal mixture. Stir into flour mixture until blended.
Mixture will be thin.
