1/2 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 c. mild taco sauce
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground cumin
salad oil
4 (6-inch) flour tortillas
4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
1 small red pepper, cut into thin strips
1 small green pepper, cut into thin strips
Preparation

In a 2-quart saucepan over high heat, cook ground beef and onion until all the pan juices evaporate and the meat is well browned, stirring frequently.
Stir in the chili powder and cook for 1 minute.
Add taco sauce, salt and cumin; heat to boiling. Reduce the heat to low; cover and simmer for 5 minutes to blend the flavors, stirring occasionally.
