Lemon Sponge Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
2 eggs, separated
3 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. milk
dash of salt
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt and flour together.
Lightly beat egg yolks. Add lemon peel, juice and butter.
Mix sugar mixture and egg-lemon mixture together.
Add to milk, stirring until well blended.
In separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks are formed.
Fold into lemon mixture.
Pour into a 9-inch pie shell and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
