Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 pkg. cranberries
    1 (3.5 oz.) box red jello (any flavor)
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 to 1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Bring water and sugar to a boil.
    Add cranberries; cook until berries \"pop.\"
    Remove from heat.
    Add dry jello; stir until dissolved.
    Cool slightly.
    Add pineapple and nuts.
    Put in dish. Refrigerate.
