Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
8 slices pineapple, drained
yellow cake mix (mix according to pkg. directions) *
Preparation

Melt butter in large iron skillet.
Sprinkle sugar over butter and arrange pineapple slices on sugar.
(Place whole maraschino cherry in center of each pineapple slice, if desired, also can place pecan halves decoratively around pineapple slices, if desired.)
Pour cake batter evenly over pineapple and bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
Let stand in skillet for 5 minutes.
Then turn out on cake plate with pineapple side up.
