Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
    2 carrots, peeled and diced
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 onion, peeled and chopped
    5 c. water
    salt to taste
    3 Tbsp. pure vegetable oil or bacon grease
    2 Tbsp. cornmeal
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a soup pot, combine the first four ingredients with the water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and add salt to taste. Simmer.
