Coconut Pecan Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3 egg yolks
    1/2 c. condensed milk
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 pkg. cookie pieces pecans
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. coconut
Preparation
    Combine the evaporated milk, condensed milk, sugar, vanilla extract, butter and slightly beaten egg yolks in a saucepan.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes.
    Add the coconut and pecans.
    Cool until thickened enough to spread, beating occasionally.
    Makes 2 1/2 cups.
