Fruit Pizza - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened to room temperature
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    11 oz. cream cheese (at room temperature)

Preparation
    For the crust:
    Combine 1 cup sugar, egg and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla.
    Sift the flour and baking powder; blend in with the sugar and egg mixture.
    Refrigerate for at least 45 minutes (the cooler the better) and press into a 14-inch round pizza pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Let cool before filling.
