Grandma'S Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green peppers, washed and cut in half
    1 loaf Italian bread, hard
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    3 garlic cloves, chopped fine
    1/4 c. fresh parsley, chopped
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    1 can Del Monte tomato sauce
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut bread, soak and squeeze out water. Place in a bowl; add 1/2 can tomato sauce, grated cheese, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.
    Mix well.
    Stuff peppers; place on a slightly oiled pan.
    Cook about 45 minutes or until tender with a fork.
    Spoon on remaining tomato sauce; cook for a few more minutes.
    Serve with soup and salad.
    Super meal!
