Hearty Bean Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium cans red kidney beans (undrained)
    1 medium can garbanzo beans (undrained)
    2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
    3 carrots, chopped
    1 onion, diced
    1 large can crushed tomatoes
    1 small can tomato paste
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. garlic
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large pot.
    Simmer for about 45 minutes.
    Serve hot with sandwiches and salad.
