Microwave Sweet Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 lb. Vidalia onions, sliced
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. chives
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded

Preparation

Combine onions and butter in 2-quart covered dish.
Cook on High power for 10 or 12 minutes or until tender, stirring once halfway through cooking time.
Stir in flour and seasonings.
Cook on High power 30 seconds.
Slowly stir in milk and sour cream. Cook on High power for 4 to 6 minutes or until thickened. Sprinkle with cheese.
Cook on Medium power 4 to 6 minutes or until cheese melts.
Serves 8.
