Scripture Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Judges 5:25 (soft butter)
    2 c. Jeremiah 6:20 (sugar)
    1 Tbsp. Exodus 16:31 (honey)
    6 Isaiah 10:14 (eggs)
    3 1/2 c. 1 Kings 4:22 (all-purpose flour), divided 1/2 c.
    2 c. each 1 Samuel 30:12 (raisins and chopped figs)
    1 1/2 tsp. 1 Kings 10:10 (spices, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. cloves and 1/4 tsp. ginger)
    1 c. Genesis 43:11 (chopped almonds)
    1 c. Exodus 17:6 (water)
    1/2 tsp. Leviticus 2:13 (salt)
    2 tsp. 1 Corinthians 5:6 (baking powder)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add honey.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
    Combine 3 cups of flour, baking powder, salt and spices.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with water.
    Beat well.
    Dredge raisins, chopped figs and almonds in remaining 1/2 cup flour.
    Gently stir into batter.
    Grease and flour 2 loaf pans.
    Spoon batter into pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Glaze if desired.
