Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten separately
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. melted shortening
1 c. milk
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour (approximate)
Preparation

Separate eggs.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Beat egg yolks. Add sugar, milk and shortening to yolks.
Add flour.
Fold in whites.
Cook on griddle.
