Ann'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco, melted (not oil!)
3 c. applesauce
4 c. flour (leave 1 out to mix with fruit)
2 Tbsp. soda
1 lb. raisins
1 lb. mixed fruit
1 lb. each red and green cherries
1 c. grapefruit juice
2 Tbsp. salt
1 lb. nuts
1 lb. dates

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Grease pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours in tube pans or 45 minutes in regular pans.
