Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening (1/2 butter or margarine), softened
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix 1 1/2 cups sugar, the shortening and eggs thoroughly.
    Blend in flour.
    Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon.
    Shape dough by rounded teaspoon into balls; roll balls in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
