Potato "Tater" Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 medium potatoes
    1 to 2 stems celery (if desire]d)
    1 c. milk
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
    1 medium onion
Preparation
    Dice potatoes into a large saucepan.
    Cover with water.
    Add chopped onion and celery.
    Boil until almost soft, but not completely.
    Thicken with cornstarch or flour, diluted with 1/2 cup warm water.
    Return to a simmering boil.
    Add milk and reduce heat.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    (Goes great with hot cornbread.)
