Delicatessen Reuben - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large slices rye bread, slightly toasted and buttered
    1 c. sauerkraut
    1/2 lb. corned beef slices
    1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, slices
    1 large onion, sliced
    Thousand Island salad dressing
    1 large avocado, peeled and sliced
Preparation
    Cover toast with sauerkraut, meat, cheese and onion.
    Place under broiler for 1 to 2 minutes until cheese is melted. Top with avocado slices and dressing.
    Serve open-style with pickle garnish.
