Apple Or Peach Strudel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 apples or peaches, peeled and sliced (or more if needed)
    sugar to taste
    cinnamon to taste
    lumps of butter
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
Preparation
    Place apples or peaches in the bottom of a buttered baking dish.
    (Use more fruit if needed to make a thick layer on the bottom of the baking dish.)
    Mix the sugar and cinnamon (to taste) and sprinkle on the fruit.
    Dot with lumps of butter.
    Mix the remaining dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
    Add egg and mix until crumbly.
    Sprinkle over fruit mixture.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until crust is brown.
    Serve with milk, whipped cream or ice cream.
