Cherry Delight Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour (all-purpose)
    1 large can tart pitted cherries
    1 pkg. (3 oz.) cherry Jell-O
    3 bananas, mashed
    2 Tbsp. red food coloring
    3 small graham cracker crusts or 2 large
    1 c. sugar
    1 medium can crushed pineapple (undrained; 15 1/2 oz.)
    1 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Mix flour and sugar; add a little juice from cherries to make a paste.
    Add remaining cherry juice and pineapple juice.
    Cook over low heat until thickened. Add Jell-O, bananas, pecans and coloring.
    Pour in graham cracker crusts and let congeal.
    Top with Cool Whip.
    May be frozen for later use.
