Dirt Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

16 oz. Oreo cookies, crushed (more if needed)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 stick butter, softened
3 c. milk
2 boxes vanilla instant pudding mix
1 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. Cool Whip
3/4 c. powdered sugar

Preparation

Cream butter, cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar.
Mix pudding and milk together and add to the cream cheese mixture. Gradually blend in Cool Whip.
Mix until smooth.
Spread 1/3 of cookies on bottom of serving container.
Spoon cream mixture over crushed cookies.
Continue to layer until cookies and mixture are gone.
Save enough crushed cookies to make the top look like \"dirt.\"
