Pickled Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. sliced squash
    4 onions, sliced
    1 red sweet pepper
    1 green sweet pepper
    1/2 c. canning salt
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar (5%)
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Bring to a boil.
    Drain ice water off of vegetables.
    Add to syrup mixture and boil 3 minutes.
    Put in hot jars and seal.
