Christmas Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. dates
    1 lb. walnuts
    1 lb. Brazil nuts
    1 1/2 lb. red/green candied cherries
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    5 eggs, beaten only until yolks are broken
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Do not chop nuts; everything is whole. Add remaining ingredients; mix by hand.
    Fill greased and floured bread pans 3/4 full.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours; test for doneness.
