Moisty-Rich Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. granular sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. sour milk
2 eggs (whole)
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. soda

Preparation

In bowl cream first 4 ingredients together.
Pour in boiling water and mix.
Add milk and eggs.
Mix in flour, salt and soda. Beat with mixer until all ingredients are well blended.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased cake pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
