Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    6 large eggs
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and Crisco. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat well. Add flour and alternate with buttermilk. Add lemon extract. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1
    hour.
    Test with straw at 50 minutes.
